Now here’s an example of a well tied necktie. Bob Schieffer, not particularly known for his fashion, has selected a necktie that is in proportion to his shirt collar. Although the tie knot is slightly crooked, it is large enough to fill up the space in the collar. Good job, Bob. Michael Buble could use a few fashion tips from you.

This picture of Michael Buble was taken last night at the lighting of the Rockerfeller Center Christmas Tree in New York City. Being as successful as he is, I’m sure he has a stylist who dressed him.
So what’s with the tie? His shirt collar isn’t even buttoned up and the collar is spread way to wide for a tie. The necktie knot is crooked too. Why bother getting dressed up if your shirt collar and tie look like this?
Guaranteed, if he had a properly sized shirt and a clip-on tie he would look a lot better. I know there is a stigma attached to wearing clip-on ties, but I’m just saying how does this look better than a clip-on tie???
I don’t mean to pick on Michael Buble. I have nothing against the guy. He has a lot of hit songs and I’m happy that he’s very successful but I just don’t get this look and why this would be considered cool.
